The Department of Technologies and Measurements on Atomic Scale (TMAS) is a part of the Natural Scienses Center (NSC) of the Prokhorov General Physics Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences (GPI RAS). TMAS was created in 2011 from the Laboratory of Surface Phenomena of the Department of Laser Physics. Since the foundation of TMAS, the department has been headed by Konstantin N. Eltsov.
